Clothes hanger based on crown symbol.
Coat-hanger presents Yaroslav’s approach to design emotional forms and surfaces.
Inspiration for TOTEM was old stories and documents when people had pagan beliefs and a lot of different idols. In this way TOTEM was created as a sculpture with srecific proportions and elements.
Clear and precise surfaces make it truly emotional in all kinds of interiors and outdoor spaces. In order to make a double meaning, TOTEM can be putted in a corner of hall as an idol of protect of the house.
Material: alumni and copper.
The collection is named after great English scientist Robert Hooke, who discovered law of elasticity in 1660.
The concept of this furniture is about sense of plasticity. The inspiration was the observation of the stretching chewing gum and rubber. Extendible material changes not only its shape but also the color. These stress concentrators are more transparent. Object is in the visual stretching, despite the fact that there are no causes of stretch. It’s like a frozen dynamic sculpture. It forms a completely emotional and special experience.
It is important to note that it is kind of visual evolution of the basic form directly to the complex final object. The movement itself gives shape. Due to its futuristic gloss this furniture can serve as a great point of attraction in public spaces and in private appartments.
Possible material is acrylic paint with a gradient or a rubber is stretched and fixed.
Stream series came out of my long-term passion for futuristic aesthetics, its expressiveness through soft curvy shapes, and my personal respect to roots of sixties design.
Hinting to the vintage futurism, I used the aerodynamic curves and contrasting combination of materials, bright leather and chrome legs.
My point is that design mostly requires clear solutions that are understandable at first sight. So objects of the Stream series are made of a soft aerodynamic volume and an elegant s-shaped back. It gives a sense of solid object, as if everything is made of one piece. The form is fasten by simple and straightforward legs which strongly fixate the soft body. Seaming lines are generated by a computer and show connections between patches of surfaces for optimum ergonomics with the minimum number of control points of surface. The chair has an almost perfect curvature.

"Famously perfected by Faberge in the late 1800’s the craft lives on today with Russian Designer Yar Rassadin whose Pantone Matryoshka collection takes inspiration from both the Pantone color matching system and a minimalist UFO style, making for a uniquely modern twist on the nearly 120 year old art form"
